You really think giant corporations that buy thousands of these things are idiots and know less than you?

These comments seem to be from guys who had a consumer 300GB Seagate drive fail 20 years ago without backing it up.
If you want to be thorough run badblocks on the drives.

Of course they are louder than blues... They're enterprise drives while blues are standard consumer drives.

Late response, but I put 4 in my DS920 and they work great. It took me 4 days to replace each 4tb with the 12tb drives one-by-one to expand the unit. No issues so far.
