Try to choose between Roland F107 and this one. Any suggestions? I have 3 children with level 10, 9 and 7. I'm buying one for my second home.
I think Roland has the better name when it comes to "Digital Pianos", but Korg is fairly well known for their synth and midi controllers. Both are probably decent for the money though.

Between this and f107, they're both Steinway based sound samples. The roland has the decays sound engine modeled, the Korg uses looped samples for decay.
Price wise, this is alot better value. Especially if you throw in some slickdeals speakers and amp .

Modeled Resonance beats sampled resonance all day long. That's why companies like Yamaha wouldn't put it in their low end samples and even now only give the majority of the Arius line VRM Lite.
The problem with your thinking is that you shouldn't have to add anything to these. If you really want to use monitors and a subwoofer, then you might as well just get the Arturia Keylab MK II 88 key weighted keyboard.

There are alot of complications with VST software setup that is not appropriate for the beginners, which is most piano buyers.
External sound is always the better choice, regardless of how expensive the piano is. Recent revelations posted on piano world indicate that even the most expensive products use very cheap amplifiers and speaker cones, so much so that it is shocking to the audiophiles in the space.
