I would much rather have 2 5.0 batteries than a 6.0, but the 6.0 cost so much more. I have probably 10 of the 5.0's and I have 2 8.0's for the yard equipment. I can whack and edge an entire acre of yard with a ton of trees on a single 8.0 battery.

Guessing HD is sick of the purchase-then-never-pick-up that's so common, and wants you in store to buy both items (and hopefully more), or is counting on some people to just never return the unwanted item once they have it delivered and in their home.
