Nylon brush and hot grill grates don't seem like a good idea. Even for those who clean when their grill has cooled, this brush wouldn't cut it on the occasions you have to brush off stuff during a cook.

Been using wire brushes for 15 years. A year or so ago, I got the "best rated" and safer stainless brush of Amazon. Well 2 days ago, after grilling some steaks, my 8 year old takes a piece of stainless bristle out of her mouth and asks "what's this"! Now imagine if she swallowed that! Lots of horror stories about needing surgery because that bristle gets stuck/stabbed in the intestines and requires removal. Also, seems like the quality of the bristle bushes has changed a lot from what they were, this stuff isn't safe!
