Will it be better than the R3 using your Denon for movies? Probably a bit... worth the price? Depends on if you like floor speakers as furniture, or don't mind smaller bookshelf's with stands.
Will it sound better just listening to music? Probably not. Both depend on if you already have sub and your room is tuned.
Will it be a big step up from your Klipsch? With a dedicated amp, yes. With your Denon, yes but it may not blow you away
Stereo music listening is one factor, surround with movies is another, subwoofer, amp & room (and aesthetics) all contribute to the unknown factor.
Sorry, edited a bit... On my phone.

I recently upgraded from RF82II to R7, after Dirac Live correction I hear zero difference when watching movies. Just my 2 cents. RP160M to R7 with good amp you MIGHT hear a difference, but I would put that money toward a Monolith/svs sub

Thank you. Sorry for not mentioning previously, I use the Denon stereo receiver amp which has sufficient power to drive two channels @ 100 watts. My main usage is music and occasionally TV with two bookshelves and an ELAC sub. If needed, I would upgrade the amp too. I upgraded from Pioneer AJs to Klipsch RP and the improvement was really evident. Hope you understand where I'm coming from.
