Yeah I've been tracking prices to try and get some refurbished subs for less than they typically are discounted. The SB-2000 Pro in the matte finish refurbed is typically $849 so it's a sale of $100, the glossy version with blemishes is actually $150 off.
Really like SVS but this price hike nonsense is stupid. They claimed it was cost increase from shipping from china and now that has gone down significantly, they've decided to continue with the increased prices and lowering the discounts on holiday sales.
I have high hopes that the 12" rsl is going to disrupt the subwoofer market
that does seem like a viable option if you're in the market for your first subwoofer. I would be interested in their higher output lineup if they ever release one.

appreciate the comments I was feeling fomo seeing this as I'm new in this market, not so upset now gonna pass on it
Yes as someone pointed out their better price sales go extremely fast.
They sometimes sprinkle them throughout the sale, you just have to keep checking.
Since you're new and don't really have a preference and price is a main concern.
You might want to take a look at Monolith.
They regularly have sales, good subs also and cost less.

You don't think the 12 will put out? The 10 was a beast for its size.

Oh, I'm sure it will be OK. I'm looking for something with a little bit more output. I just bought my second SB 16 just to give you an idea of what I'm looking for.
