Amazon has posted some extra free PC games for Prime members. I think these are in addition to their usual weekly cadence because those usually go up on Thursdays. Some of these have been included in previous free offers.

Claim them at https://gaming.amazon.com/home under the "weekly game" tab. There are lots of other games from the last few weeks still available if you haven't claimed them yet. Most require installation through the Amazon Games launcher [amazon.com].

New games added:

  • Double Kick Heroes
  • Shattered - Tale of the Forgotten King

EDIT: Might be worth to add that most games have been already offered on Prime Gaming in other times. In my case I already had claimed all but Tandem.

Can any if these work as a standalone (without any "engines")? I hate it when you're forced to install whole systems when you just want the good'ol executable...

Yes, it will run but their interface is cumbersome as you can't use your dpad/joystick to navigate by default, some controls configurations are required

I think eventually Prime Gaming will have the entire SNK/Neo Geo collection for free. Along with the 4 games in this post (not SNK), I added 3 Count Bout, Alpha Mission II, King of the Monsters 2, and Kizuna Encounter. Previous downloads over the last 8 months include:
