Just to clarify, the coupon gives you 50% off the original price, not an additional 50%. Torin 6s are on sale for 120, coupon takes them to 75, which is 50% of the original price of 150. Which is probably what they should be selling for all the time. I was big fan of Altra for a about 5 years, but my last 2-3 pairs have been a disappointment. They seem to be moving away from what set them apart with the wide toe box.

Lone Peak 6 and Rivera in the low $60 range is a huge thumbs up. That's as cheap as they get BUT the sizing/colors are pretty limited, as usual.

Their website is completely hosed--you can't create a new account, and they're unable to process credit card orders from desktop browsers. Mobile Safari worked.

Probably taxing you on the MSRP/presale price or something, that's not too uncommon. Thanks to gck105 for pointing out that it's not 50% off the current price, it's off original price. Major difference.

Unless you need them RIGHT NAO it's usually better to wait on REI or others to close out the outgoing models at $60-$80.

Yeah, the do have a variety of shapes now, but the original shape is only available on 1 road running model according to their website. Wide size only shows up on one model in one color.
When I first started buying them, I could buy the same size in any shoe and it just fit. Now I feel like the sizing is all over the place.

Sizing has definitely changed thanks to the narrowing of the toe box. I wear a 10 in the Paradigm 6, 10.5 in the Superior 5 and Provision 6. The Superior 5s have a noticeably wider and more comfortable toe box. 🤷
