Arctic had a issue recently with a faulty gasket in some of their AIOs. It wasn't a leak, it was the material deteriorating and clogging the fins. Anyway, they had a free fix kit they sent anyone who requested (easy fix, theres a vid on gamersnexus channel about it). Anyway i would bet these are all AIOs that they had in stock that they replaced the seal on. I would have no issue trusting one.

One more note: arctic uses some thicc boi radiators so make sure it will fit in whatever your application is.

Valid concern, but Arctic is a well-established company with decades of good reputation to defend, so I doubt they'd be selling them if they knew they had issues.

This 100x. This cooler is amazingly effective, but holy crap is it a fatty. Case fit can definitely be an issue, especially with the massive 420 version.

Just be careful I received one of the "fixed" gasket versions of the 280 (it will have a qc sticker which means it has the new gasket) but the pump failed after a month, and it took me a few days to even notice.

Still think these are the best AIOs and they shipped me a new one before I even sent the failed one back but just be aware since they are popping these open before shipping them out to fix the gasket on old stock, there is maybe a risk of them not being put together right.

Fantastic cooler. If I didn't own one already, I'd be grabbing one now.

They also have longer hoses.

Got a Corsair 5000D case, and with the top recessed the way it is there's not enough room to mount an average thickness radiator, so had to use the side mount. Problem there is that the ~12" hoses used on so many AIOs are too short, so wound up buying Arctic.

I have the 240 in a build and works good, but it was tricky to install. Wouldn't chance "B" stock

These are Chunkie Sized aio's. My cpu case (Corsair 5000x rgb), is definitely on the larger size and while I thought it had plenty of room to top mount a 360 aio, this 360 arctic was a fair bit too big to mount with my msi z790 mag tomahawk wifi ddr5. The Corsair 360 aio had no problem, but I wanted the arctic as it is a superior cooler, from what I have researched, especially for helping to tame 13700k temps.
I was able to fit the arctic 360 with some modifications.

I could only get one side of the screws attached and ended up cutting and drilling out my own bracket extension using a couple of small pieces of steel. It honestly was probably fine with just the one side screwed in, as the 5000x rgb case has pretty thick metal for the mounting areas on the top and it felt pretty secure, but I was worried about it causing too much pressure over time when moved or if it got shifted too much, especially when I clean it (5000x needs a fair bit of cleaning for the dust filters and glass panels to keep it looking sharp).

My first arctic 360 had a bad rgb fan. Second one has no issues but I'll be damned, it still struggles to cool the 13700k under load. Both coolers had almost identical cooling results on the 13700k. Still cooled way quieter and at better temps than the Corsair did, but I ended up needing to undervolt the cpu -.1 Now it only maxes out under stress at 90-93c…. Lol. Undervolting Raised my cineabench score 2000 points to 30k and haven't had a single crash, though maxing out in the low 90's Celsius is still maddening to me. Probably need to redo my thermal compound as this one hotspot is the main culprit of the high temps with hot spot of 5-6c higher than the rest. As crazy as those temps sound, it seems to be on the normal side (for full load) and under the thermal throttle limits of 100c.

Long winded post, but I hope my experience might be helpful to anyone else building a similar speced pc and running into similar issues.

*The arctic cooler was about 7c cooler than the Corsair I tried prior, as well as being much quieter.
As for gambling with B stock, not for me, but if you get a good one, this is a good aio. Just make sure you measure first or are prepared to work around the sizing.

Based on GamerNexus report, Arctic seems to be honorable and try to fix things when things go wrong instead of trying to cover it up like other companies.

Fair enough. I hear they have great warranty though and stand behind their product.

I bought my Arctic RGB 360 new and is extremely happy with it so far.

To both of you, B-stock doesn't necessarily mean there's something wrong with it or it's a return. They mention it could be due to damaged packaging. My friend got one, and he was happy with it and said looked brand new. He couldn't tell. Came with Intel 12th gen adapters too.

I just put together a new rig that's yet to be assembled. I sure as hell am not risking all my new components to save a few bucks for a open box an aio.

Look into Honeywell PTM7950. It's a phase change thermal interface that has close to the performance of liquid metal. It should lower your temps quite a bit. It's a bit hard to find, since Honeywell doesn't sell to consumers, but a lot of high end laptops are using them now. You have to be mindful of counterfeits. ModDIY.com has legit ones, but they're a bit pricey. My temps on my 13900K are about 10°C lower than the Arctic MX-5 I was using (one of the best thermal pastes). Another plus is the fact that it takes MUCH longer to degrade than thermal paste, so it'll last longer than the life of your PC, so you'll never have to change it out.
