The cards are not the same gaming performance if you add a dedicated graphics card. The 5600G has 1/2 the L3 cache. The card stand-alone is great however

Also, 5600g maxes out at pcie3. Not future proof if you plan to get a gfx card.

That is true but anything below a a 4070Ti will not fill up the bandwidth of a pcie 3.0 (exception is 6500xt since it's trash for other reasons).

I've had no issues with my b450m 5600 4070ti on ultra wide 3400x1440p.

But valid point for anything about a 7900xt possibly.

@ctslive, The combo with 5600g and same MB shows as $179.98 in my cart vs $99.99 with the 3600. So an $80 differential rather than $40. Unless you know a way to do this combo for $140?

Anyone know if you can stack the new customer $25 off a CPU with this deal? It doesn't seem like you can stack coupons but trying to figure out if this deal is more of a bundle deal and still allows a coupon.

At 15:55 MDT June 2 the ""See Deal" button goes to an invalid Micro Center page. Also I no longer find a Ryzen 5 3600 on the Micro Center site. Wonder if the Micro Center site is having problems?

When the bundle was $130 a few months ago, I was able to stack with the $25 off new customer coupon. Ordered online for pickup, when I went, just showed the barcode to the cashier and he processed it no issues.

But I've also heard of some store managers not allowing it. So ymmv

OP, is this dead? I can't add either one to cart for pickup or shipping, so can't get any in cart discount. Is the discount available in store also? If it's dead, then I need to move the thread to Deal Talk.

Edit: Since I see no way to add to cart to get the discount and there's no way for us to know if the deal is also in store itself, I'm going to have to move this to Deal Talk, sorry. OP, if you reply and can tell me if the deal is available in store too w/o having to do store pickup, then we can move it back if needed.

I wish I had one within reasonable distance.......I have been looking for an i7 7700k to upgrade to and they run about the same for cpu alone.

When I bought an intel bundle for $350 it required a manager to override it and manually adjust the prices so it's a YMMV depending on the store.
