I know staff doesn't even do this all the time. The problem is that deal alerts only give us title information.
Some would be grateful to know where they would be purchasing from before coming into the thread to check it out. It can help make or break deals sometimes, believe it or not.
The 8th generation Intel CPUs introduced the four core i3 models, a configuration previously restricted to i5 and higher CPUs. The 10th generation brought hyper threading to the cores of these i3 models. That led to models like this 11th generation i3-1125G4 which should provide killer long-term productivity performance.
On top of that, add the ability to later upgrade the RAM (which shouldn't be a pressing need if the average planned workload is Word or Excel with some light browsing.
This isn't the most compact laptop by any means, coming in the commodity 15.6" form factor. And of course, this is a retail laptop so don't expect military-rated ruggedness or the highest build quality. Additionally, this laptop lacks touch screen functionality, which I generally like to recommend for Windows 11 (particularly given the recent support for Android applications). However, this is arguably the right specs vs. price to be a very good deal for many.
Good luck!
Jon
Not sure why people are giving this thumbs down.
For $30 more this is a better deal than the $299 HP from Walmart.
seems a lot better than the gateway.. but not sure.. i hear the gateway has a lot of bad backlight bleed.. i wonder how bad it is on this laptop
