It's a four iron at 23* not worth it
Some of these comments are pretty uninformed. I game this and often describe it as a "driving iron" rather than "utility iron" - it's an excellent club that serves an important, albeit niche, purpose. Not every golfer needs one, in fact few do. But for the players who are looking for one, this is a good price on a great club.

I'm reasonably athletic, and on the low side of a higher speed player (driver swing speed around 110). This is more forgiving than a traditional 4 iron and is generally lower spin. I use this on tighter tee shots or when playing into the wind. Beyond being somewhat more forgiving that my set irons, it's noticeably "hotter", with smash factor frequently in the 1.3X range. I'm able to hit a reliable, controlled, shaped shot in the 14X MPH ball speed range, netting approximately 230 yards with fairly low risk.

Don't take my word for it - MyGolfSpy loved the Srixon ZX: https://mygolfspy.com/buyers-guid...lity-iron/
Agree. Maybe I am missing something but do not understand why someone would buy this, especially at $100 "on sale". Nothing more than a 4 iron which can be picked up cheap because many players have opted for hybrids in this loft. I can still play either 3 or 4 irons but no longer in my bag. Hybrid simply easier to hit.

The LH version is also available, just not through this link. It's a separate listing. Wish they also had the 20 degree 2 iron at this price.

Picture shows a labeled 3 iron at 20 degrees...only option to purchase is a 23 degree supposed 4 iron. Not really that hard to find a 4 iron in a set these days so I'm not sure of the attraction.

If you're on the fence and want to scratch an itch. This utility iron is one of the best looking and feeling. Had the 20* for a bit but just went too far. The 23* might fit the gapping better. Scottie Scheffler games the 1 model older version of this.

Longs irons good for hockey style shots out of the woods

Decent deal but I would recommend trying to find a utility iron with adjustable loft like the cobra king utility or any similar iron that is adjustable around 18-22 degree lofts. 21 degrees is a standard 3 iron that many players are dropping out of their bag to go hybrid or utility iron. At 23 degrees, you're basically at a 4 iron. It isnt that people couldnt use the help with a 4 iron, but that $ should really be put into your 3-pw or 4-pw or 4-gw iron set to begin with so you're not dropping so much on a single club that isnt a wood/hybrid.

Many golfers don't carry a 4 iron anymore since the 5 is the new 4. 3 irons range from 19* to 21* but you have to understand that a utility iron has a graphite shaft that's slightly longer than a standard iron. Also, utility irons are made to get the ball up easier. Something in between a hybrid and a long iron. This is definitely one of the best looking at address and one of the better feeling. Titleist U505 feels like trash and has a lot of offset.

Prob on sale because it is just not a very good choice of club almost ever. The loft is too high for a driving iron, and used on an actual approach you are better of with a hybrid 99% of the time.
