Very good pricing for this edition. Only thing I'd say to keep in mind for prospective buyers is that the 2k24 will be out in roughly 3 months with incremental updates but 95% the same game. With the first real sale of the new version being around black Friday for online codes, so if you're willing to wait it out, this is a good stopgap @ $20
any advice on how to make these EA sports games more fun? whenever I play they seem overwhelmed with controls and moves.
Yes, try playing a game actually made by EA first🤣🤣🤣. NBA 2k made by 2k sports, not EA. Take two interactive is the publisher. In my opinion, and even greedier microtransaction heavy publisher.
In all seriousness, I agree. Last 2k bball game I enjoyed thoroughly was 2k11. After that, they implemented too many buttons to pull off plays. Probably great for some..too much thinking for me

Depends what your goal is. You can definitely get by playing against the cpu using only 2 buttons (pass, shoot), both triggers, and the left stick. Right stick if you want to do something fancy.
Yeah, if you want to call for a pick and pop, then cross a guy up while simultaneously telling your small forward to cut to the basket to throw an alley-oop to, yeah that's gonna take some practice. It's as complicated as you want it to be. If it didn't have the complicated controls available, people would be up in arms they couldn't pull off a Dream Shake in the post.

LOL I am right there with you. I feel the same way about Madden. Too complex and wish NFL Blitz would come back with updated rosters.
