Honestly, Disney let some of their parks go during the pandemic and I won't go back to them until they get them looking more magical than a crack house near the trop.

$83 should be regular price .... Disney is out of control!
Go to Japan, you can visit TDL for around 60 bucks a day.

I took my family earlier this year. Spent about $600 on tickets for us 5. I was told my red flyer wagon wasn't allowed so had to rent a stroller, another $20. Basically spent the whole day waiting in lines and taking the kids to bathroom while waiting in lines.

The rides were fun and the kids did enjoy them. But its not worth waiting 45-60mins for a 5 minute ride, multiple times.

PS I went on a Tuesday in the Winter (not on winter break)

Or you can speak with your wallet (the only language corporations understand or listen to) and not go. My wife and I were premium annual passholders for over a decade. Now I wouldn't go even if they paid me to go. Truly disgusting what disney has become.
Excellent! Shorter lines for the rest of us. 😁

As it stands now, they're battling overcrowding with the (insane) high prices. So they have 2 options.

1) Keep raising prices and capitalize on the people who are willing to pay (which is seemingly everyone).
2) Lower prices causing more crowds resulting in a worse user experience.

I agree the prices are insane. I remember when the annual pass was $120 and crowds were manageable. Now they're upwards of a thousand and the place is packed. There's just too much demand.
Yup. Demand outweighs supply. There's no reason not to raise the prices. You also have the benefit of keeping the white trash out.

Of course the wagon isn't allowed. That seems absolutely logical to me....but... Also, Disney has lines? I would have never expected that!

Agreed, they will keep raising prices to capitalize and reduce crowds.( Don't really blame them either, it's just unfortunate. )

Disney could place a cap on the number of visitors per day, but they will not do that, thus the ever outrages prices to enter.
And it has become no longer worth it at any price with all those crowds.

Also It is sad that a family of 4 of average income can't enjoy what used to be the greatest place on earth.

I have fond memories going to Disneyland but it had become too big and no longer enjoyable.

Have to stick with 6 flags and the like now and those are way more enjoyable and just the right size parks and my kids love it too.
Cool...stick with Six Flags which is ghetto/gang land.

Lol, maybe in L.A. but not where I am live.
The parks here are very nice and no crowds. You can walk/see the whole park and rides in half a day so it lets you just chill and take all day enjoying yourself without the rush from ride to ride or show to show.

Which Six Flags? We have one in Western WA and it's absolute crap. It's about the level of a carnival.

Northern CA, Vallejo.
Also nice is one can get a season pass for both the Vallejo park and their water park in Concord for one season park pass of a low $70. Which includes unlimited parking at both parks too!
It's quite a deal.

Nearly the same but I think Great America park is larger more "run down" from what I hear.
Last time I was at Great America was over 15 years ago. And I also hear that Great America in Santa Clara is closing for good in the next year or 2.

The literally identical post I was going to write. Popcorn is 3 bucks. Entry is 60. Much better merch, and a far superior overall experience. No stupid reservations. And you can stay on a monorail hotel for around $150 a night. Plus, TDS is the best theme park in the world.
