So, if I spend $12 will I be able to put the remaining $13 off towards the tip?

This is a 2 day promotion, the closer to 5pm you get the order placed, the better chance you will beat the system crash. The Doordash system will crash during this promotion. Some will definitely get free food, some will definitely get very frustrated.

Worked like a charm. Had my order ready to go and promo code right before 5. Got a giant cheesesteak sub, two chips n two cookies for $5.xx , scheduled for delivery tomorrow for a late lunch, but well before they're rushed with the orders from this promo again.
