This guy stinks, buy sticks and whack balls. People like this are what scare people from getting into golf

For those interested, Callaway Pre-owned has them slightly cheaper ($270). They are listed as "like-new", so they probably will be excellent condition or possibly still shrink-wrapped.

I was considering getting into golf but clearly I have a lot to learn. I'll just keep watching on tv. Yikes.

I've bought like new clubs from callaway preowned and they are new. Bought several clubs from them and all like new ones I've bought have looked brand new 👍
Like many on this site I'm a sucker for a deal, and I cannot tell you the number of drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids I've purchased over the years because they were on sale and I thought they would be the solution to whatever was wrong with my golf game. I would have been much better off just going to a fitter, getting a set that definitely worked for me, and sticking with it through multiple seasons.
The comments that if you are of average build all clubs are automatically fit for you is incredibly misleading. Clubs all have different characteristics that may or may not work for your swing. Right now I play a driver with all the adjustable weight at the toe because my miss is a hook. If I just randomly bought a draw biased driver (not necessarily this particular club) because I saw it on sale on slickdeals, I'd be in a lot of trouble.

Exactly! I'm laughing at the people saying I'm an elitest snob 😂.. I am constantly encouraging my friends on the course, and I welcome anyone and everyone to the game. First hand experience, I can say getting fitted for clubs for you is going to do you a lot of good. Clubs have SO many specs to them. Just buying because they're on sale could actually be hurting you right out of the rip. If you want to "buy sticks and whack balls," then get a direct to consumer full set for like $400. Don't go buy a $300 driver because it's on sale and you heard Mizuno was a good brand, ya know? Sheesh!
Had tons of luck on that site, actually bought a used set of Taylormade Sim Max 2s like new on a steal of a deal. It's hit or miss for clubs other than Calloway and Odyssey (made by Calloway) but there are deals to be had for sure.
