Even though this is a great deal, I suggest you get fitted for a full set of clubs before buying random pieces because they're on sale. Go to an independent fitter and tell them you want the full fitting (you don't have to buy from them, but be sure to get every detail of your specs.) Also, if you are really getting into the sport, I suggest a package of lessons with a pro BEFORE getting fitted. And for God's sakes, please look up pace of play and golf etiquette! 😁

For those interested, Callaway Pre-owned has them slightly cheaper ($270). They are listed as "like-new", so they probably will be excellent condition or possibly still shrink-wrapped.

I was considering getting into golf but clearly I have a lot to learn. I'll just keep watching on tv. Yikes.

This driver makes a loud pitched whistling noise when you swing it. Had it, sold it

Buy sticks and whack balls. Much better advice. And the HZRDUS smoke black shaft that is in this driver is designed for very high swing speeds which... Only extremely good players have and can control. So if an amateur buys this stick and tries to whack some balls, it's not going to be much fun. Getting fitted is great if you can afford it but getting some lessons is the best first step for anyone trying to get into the game.

Im sorry but this post is OBVIOUSLY for people who already golf. If your just starting GO OUT AND BUY SOME USED CLIBS. Unless your under 5'6 or over 6'2 for men all golf clubs are fitted for you off the bat. Just buy regular flex shaft, don't spend a lot and go to the driving range not the golf course. Watch YouTube videos with moe Norman to teach you proper swing plane. I have never been fitted for clubs in my life. I paid 70 dollars for my tommy armour max driver at golf Galaxy used and I split the fairway 300 yards plus every time.

I've bought like new clubs from callaway preowned and they are new. Bought several clubs from them and all like new ones I've bought have looked brand new 👍

I'm a bit surprised how many people are downvoting this comment because it's pretty good advice.

Like many on this site I'm a sucker for a deal, and I cannot tell you the number of drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids I've purchased over the years because they were on sale and I thought they would be the solution to whatever was wrong with my golf game. I would have been much better off just going to a fitter, getting a set that definitely worked for me, and sticking with it through multiple seasons.

The comments that if you are of average build all clubs are automatically fit for you is incredibly misleading. Clubs all have different characteristics that may or may not work for your swing. Right now I play a driver with all the adjustable weight at the toe because my miss is a hook. If I just randomly bought a draw biased driver (not necessarily this particular club) because I saw it on sale on slickdeals, I'd be in a lot of trouble.

Exactly! I'm laughing at the people saying I'm an elitest snob 😂.. I am constantly encouraging my friends on the course, and I welcome anyone and everyone to the game. First hand experience, I can say getting fitted for clubs for you is going to do you a lot of good. Clubs have SO many specs to them. Just buying because they're on sale could actually be hurting you right out of the rip. If you want to "buy sticks and whack balls," then get a direct to consumer full set for like $400. Don't go buy a $300 driver because it's on sale and you heard Mizuno was a good brand, ya know? Sheesh!

Had tons of luck on that site, actually bought a used set of Taylormade Sim Max 2s like new on a steal of a deal. It's hit or miss for clubs other than Calloway and Odyssey (made by Calloway) but there are deals to be had for sure.
