I've had the exact opposite experience buying from 3rd party manufacturers from Walmart.com. One in particular was ridiculous. Bought a Chita Living memory foam mattress online, didn't like the lack of firmness (despite the reviews), mattress self-inflates upon unboxing. Brought it back to Walmart and they refused to accept the return because it couldn't be shipped back to the manufacturer because it couldn't go back in the box. Contacted the manufacturer and the best they would offer me was a half refund. Took a loss selling the thing and Walmarts customer service for their online business is nothing but a prerecorded message that dead ends and hangs up. Horrible experience. Never again.
Third party? Hart is the manufacturer. If you take the deal, your getting shipped directly from them.
Mine finally shipped from a few weeks ago.

it's happened twice for me.
I'm sending back all my hart tools, and sticking with ryobi.
at least I know I'll get the tool when I order it.
Those companies often order in huge bulk from their factories overseas for the best volume pricing and I wouldn't be surprised if they got a shipment that had their warehouse jam-packed or over-filled and the sale prices were a way to clear some space and get things out quickly, even if they didn't even have everything boxed up yet. However, the volume of orders may have been overwhelming for a place that doesn't have a full shipping department. Just my thoughts anyway.
