I've had a similar one for a few years. I've had zero mold or slime on it. When the kids are done using it, I move it to a dry part of the yard. I inflate it and let it completely dry before putting back in storage. I would highly recommend putting a chair under it while drying. It will make sure the underneath gets dry.

To help the drying process I take my battery powered leaf blower and blow out all the pockets of water. Leave it in the sun for an hour or so after that and it's dry. Going on year 3 and I've never had slime or mold.

I don't have this exact model but the $350 or so we paid for a similar size unit has more than got its moneys worth in entertainment hours for the kids.

edit: do stake these down. had a gust of wind push it over and tossed the blower motor 20 feet. no injuries but it could have gone much differently.

Is the water circulated/reused for the sprayer and fill bucket? I presume no based on what I've read and seen. If not, I guess I could use a small water pump.
How easy is it to drain? Is there a drain plug, or just use hose suction or pump?

I have the previous version of this (it has just the sprayer instead of the tipping bucket). Everything seems really well made and I was really impressed with the seams.
Pretty cool toy for the kids during summer. No complaints here
