DCF900B would be just the bare tool.
I'd guess that they were taking copy from the bare tool description and neglected to remove that bit for the kit's description.
After doing the other three wheels I found one had been GROSSLY over torqued. Penetrating fluids and breaker bars without heat proved useless. I tried an old emergency roadside impact that I bought for changing sprockets on my motorcycle 10 years ago and it completely failed, unable to budge any of them. Eventually it seized so I threw it in the trash and switched to my DeWALT impact driver that I got on Black Friday. Since it was a driver, not a wrench, I used it with a Ryobi 1/2" impact-rated socket adapter and an impact socket from the broken roadside emergency kit. It snapped the socket adapter INSTANTLY.
I only got it off by using a butane micro torch that I have for heat shrink tubing on my electronics bench. I still had to squelch with penetrating fluid and jump up and down on the breaker bar, risking serious injury. Oh: I'm a BIG dude too. When they finally started coming off they ripped the threads right off the lugs leaving me stranded with no way to get replacements before work.
Turns out that wheel alone had been replaced by a previous owner. There was body damage around it and it was the only one with a shiny relatively-new wheel hub. The rim had junkyard numbers painted on it with three different brands of tires so it's also clear that they hadn't been rotated since.
I look for excuses to break it out now since nothing I've done since actually *needs* it, but nothing beats the peace of mind that I have it for the next time it is needed. I trimmed the case from the trashed roadside emergency impact so that it fits and I make sure to bring it along for road trips.
I'm not even the type to do my own brakes but I got stuck with a rust bucket that the local shops refused to work on (gift from friend* after a tornado left me without a vehicle for a year). Sure, the rotted panels were straight up GONE but the rust wasn't affecting the brakes or frame at all. Shops here in Georgia just assume it's more than surface rust on more important bits when they can grabs handfuls of unimportant rocker panel. To add insult to injury, they have a vehicle lift but I didn't even have a way to jack it up without intact rocker panels making the whole thing much harder for me.
*No, my friend wasn't the one who overtightened the wheel. It had been parked since he got it and he hated to see me struggle without a vehicle 1 year after the EF4 tornado (prioritized shelter).
Edit: Point is, $200 for the most powerful impact on the market with an expensive 5AH battery, I think it's worth it even just for peace of mind. You don't have to be a mechanic or daily-use tradesman to value that. Get some sockets and keep it around.
Heck, you might even save a stuck motorist futilely stripping out lugs, like I did with my $25 (after coupon) emergency roadside impact a couple times over the last 10 years. They got more use out of it than I did. It wasn't cordless, brushless, high-torque, etc and only intended to be used sparingly (connects to lighter jack or auto battery) since it is bound to crap out exactly like it did. Of course, that was after I hammered every lug for minutes so it just wasn't going to work for me even if it didn't seize. No concerns like that for a reliable brushless design from DeWALT.
