But the default tops come with engineered wood which chip off sometime during shipment.
Flexispot does sell separate quality tops of higher quality on their website.
Need to wait for a sale, which comes often.

its rock solid, only been few weeks since I have it!
The bottom stand has small knob for height adjustment, in case of uneven floors.
so for carpet it should be even more sturdy.
Unless someone tries to drag it, with weight on - then it may become loose,
Better to lift it and move, if you need to move the table in future.
or buy the addon wheels!
Stands seem sturdy and motor seems sufficient and quiet while lifting!
