    I think the description is a mistake and I've seen many such typos on Amazon before. In this situation, it literally shows 12 SOCKS in the picture when you select the 12-pack so it's a 6-pair. And if you select the 6-count on Amazon, it literally shows you 6 SOCKS in the picture so this is a 12-pack of socks and NOT a 12-PAIR of socks!
