Battery life is around 16 hours according to the original test. Maybe 10 these days which is pretty good

I have this. Definitely isn't close to 16 hours even with a brand new battery. I'd say around 6 hours for browsing on normal mode. May be stretches a little bit more when the brightness is down completely and is on battery saver mode

All testing done by magazine is half brightness. If you go full then it's never going to reach the high battery time

Lot of machine here for a couple hundred bucks. Very tempting. Not even looking for a laptop, but if this had a 16:10 screen I'd consider grabbing one.

Anyone ever bought dell refurbs? Does Grade B look like a beat-up machine with oily keyboard and smelly? Was thinking to buy as a gift but not if these are like used and torn

I picked one of these up last time around in the spring. I got a grade A and it was as new. Guessing it was never issued or never left a desktop dock type situation.

The battery came with 70% capacity left. Contacted support and they somehow sent me 2 replacements except it's wrong one. Contacted them again. They sent the right one without cable. After going back and forth, they decided just to issue little refund so i can buy the replacement myself. Overall, the machine is very nice. Support is slow to response but get the thing done.

Someone from previous dell refurbish deal said his grade B looked better than grade A, so it's a hit or miss i guess. My grade A barely has any scratches

i bought one of these for light course work. when i need to bring out cad i haul my zen book pro to class but for anything office related this thing is a beast. easy to carry, super light and battery life is amazing. usb c chargeable to boot.
