I was interested in the Dewalt DWE7485 table saw. It's there selling for $370 + $9 shipping. With the 20% off code, it drops to $296 + $9 shipping. $305 total.
Before this coupon code "sale", the item was regularly priced at $299 free shipping. In fact, it's $329 right now on Amazon with one day shipping. I'd actually be willing to spend the extra $24 on Amazon for quicker shipping and zero hassle returns if needed. And if you still want to go with Ebay, if you search DWE7485 outside of the sale, you can find the saw available for around $300 without a coupon code. Ridiculous.
Don't easily fall for these "sales". There are some items that you can get a good deal on, but many of them are marked up.

agreed! Not sure if that person is an ebay seller, but I find the exact opposite attitude of ebay sellers. It's like they're doing you favor by selling items that cost more than Wal Mart or Amazon.
If they're auto parts, you may as well buy from an actual auto parts store for the prices they want.
If they're vintage auto parts, then yes, it's a great place to buy, but they'll ream you as best they can. You're better off going to an auto swap meet these days, which is funny because it used to be the exact opposite about 10 years ago.
