I'm trying my best to not Google Evony's King Return… I do not need another 50k rabbit hole to go down…
The leveling up aspect combined with the alliance/friend playing is incredibly addictive. Not sure why they didn't just try to explain the true nature of the game. Really good empire building play with a great general gathering system, combined with the ability to level up with dragons.
I did some research and Evony was created by a Chinese company but they did their homework and the history that they invoke is accurate. They are many YouTube videos discussing how to best optimize the gameplay combat strategies. I have a spreadsheets inventorying my generals. Be forewarned if you have an addictive personality, this game will CONSUME you.
