The 'secondary' circuit of the welder can put out 90 amps, tho at less than 30 volts. That's the electrode & ground end you're actually welding with.
But the 'primary' circuit of the welder (which draws the power from your outlet) only needs no more than a 20 amp outlet, and drawing 120 volts.
It's not like an electric stove where it's drawing 50 amps (on the primary) and where you'd need a 50 amp circuit & outlet.

I picked up their Titanium Stick 225 for $272 as my first welder. I was considering a flux core model at first but decided on stick due to its increased versatility.
