I've owned this for a couple of years. It's a great value gaming and business monitor. HDR doesn't really work all that well, and there's a lot of backlight bleed. Other than that you won't find better for the money.
Well my MSI at $260 with only 100Hz just showed up today. I kind of like that it has speakers (Monoprice doesn't), and at the resolution I'm playing Diablo on my RTX 4050, 100Hz seems to be optimistic anyway.

I'm running 3 of these on my simrig and about 30 of them in a clients office. Great value. Good product. Zero issues.

How is switching between inputs, say, if you have a home PC and a work laptop?

Got one back on Black Friday, love it. There's no full array local dimming, so it's not great for HDR. But other than that it's a 144Hz QLED screen (or Quantum LCD, as they call it) with about the highest contrast and widest color gamut that you're gonna find in this price range.

The ppi on this has to be similar to a 27 in. 1080p monitor correct?
No, this is 110 ppi, basically equivalent to a 27" 1440p, except like 9 inches wider.

I have been looking at the Dell S3422DWG due to RTINGS score. My 32" Samsung died yesterday and my previous 27" monitor is so sad. I am glad to upgrade from 2560 an 34 vs 32" is nice. Never had a curved screen b4.
Dell has usb ports and also comes with 3 year warranty I believe.

This may be the same panel as the Gigabyte G34WQC. They're nearly identical in specs.

That Gigabyte doesn't have the quantum dot layer (QLED) that this has. It gives the Monoprice monitor a good bit higher contrast and wider color gamut than the Gigabyte.

This has been my experience as well. Great monitor, even with the backlight bleed, but HDR has been dim and pointless for me. At this price, I might get another.

Thanks for this. I was considering getting more for this purpose. I'm using a single 55" TV now.

I'm currently running 2x 27" 1440p and 1 24" 1080p. I want to upgrade to something bigger and I'm thinking about getting the 43" 4K Omni TV for work/lite gaming for $99 on prime day(if invited). Would this be better than the 43"? Is 43" too big?

Pretty much this. Backlight bleed isn't terrible on mine, but it is there. The menu system is atrocious and I still hit the wrong buttons.

Also, 2560x1440p output from an Xbox one/series over HDMI always gets stretched with no way to pillarbox it.
Unfortunately the Xbox does not support 1440p HDR only 4k

At this price you wont get better. Stop asking pedantic questions and buy this if you want a 34".

What about the PS4 and PS5? How do they handle the ultra wide?
