"Model SHEM63W55N is designed to dry using the PureDry™condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don't retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don't dry as well. I got bosch because of its reputation. I might just have been unlucky with a defective unit, I'm about to contact bosch warranty, will find out about its customer service lol
Edit to add meanwhile my friend got their first bosch last year, a refrigerator, and have been very happy with it

I have a newer kitchen aid, and hate it, compared to Bosch. But it came with the house, so I'm in no rush to spend more money than I need to.
