Tester68 doesn't have a wired connection, afaik. Additionally, it's tray mounted and the acoustics aren't as good. The GMK67 has gasket mounting, wired AND wireless, and south facing RGB (so there's no Cherry profile keycap interference).

I have absolutely zero reason to buy this, but I'd recommend it for anyone looking at budget keyboards right now. Note that you still need switches and keycaps.

Gasket has to do with the way the plate sits within the keyboard, it's more of a bouncy typing feel. This is a good price though and yes the company is reputable but I think ships from China so takes quite a while

"Gasket" is such a weird name for a keyboard...

Looks solid though, and a decent deal to boot. Is the company trustworthy?

If you don't need a knob, there's also a ciy tester68 keyboard base that's about $25 on ali. About same shopping time and similar in terms of specs, except no rgb.

Yes. It also costs more. But I think it's worth it. Personally I've had two out of three testers die within 6 months

Was that the same board as this? Typically issues with registering presses is due to a bad switch and the gmk67 is a hotswap board, unless it's a problem with the PCB or the hot swap socket itself. Not to say Zuoya as a company is better or worse than other Chinese manufacturers, but I haven't read any complaints about the gmk67 in the 6 or so months that I've owned one. I believe the gmk67 was released in the fall of 2022 so maybe it's a little early to tell.
