Lol. That's like saying a Saturn is a better deal than a Ferrari. Being cheaper doesn't mean it's a better deal. It just means it's cheaper. This TV is leagues better than that one. This is the better deal, because you're getting way more for your money.
Like what? Lower brightness levels?

I wonder how long until we start to see price drops for the LG G3? It may be quite a while. By all accounts the G3 is supposedly a big step up, as opposed to previous years where there was not a huge difference between the newer and previous years OLED models. I can't justify paying $1700 more, more than double the price, for the 65" G3, though (retails for 3 grand). It just came out a few months ago, so it could be a long wait. I'll probably end up getting the C2, just seems much more logical with the price.

This tv was 1200 on walmart website a couple of weeks ago. SD took it down every time someone posted it for some reason. It wasn't sold by walmart, but was through walmart site. I'm guessing SD didn't want to promote because they wouldn't get a cut. I'm still waiting for that price.
No way in hell would I buy a TV from a third party seller on Walmart. That is like buying one of these from a third party seller on ebay. They were right to take that down. Also you have to go through that third party seller for returns and refunds. You were most likely looking at a scam.

For those with an Amazon Prime Visa, the deal yesterday for 10% CB was better no? Or am I missing something?

I was going to bite the 65" B2 at Sams for $999 last week, now only the display model left. I didn't buy.

I remember I got my first big screen sight unseen, 65" off-brand, from Woot. They were selling for $5000 generally, Woot was $2000. I think it was 1080p.

For people on the west coast, Video Only has been willing to sell C2 65" for $1299.

I was tempted, but when I saw it next to Samsung 95B, the 95B's vivid colors seemed better.

Not sure what the best pick is currently. Video Only maybe has the 95B for $1499.

I figured walmart would take care of any scamness since it's through them? sort of how amazon takes care of you.

Yes it's weird the OLED discount sale prices were better months ago. Guess the glut is over.
They cleaned out inventory and want to hook the price point higher

For me, this is slightly better than the Amazon deal, even after the 10% back in rewards. Only better by $20 so not enough for me to cancel and reorder. I think Woot gets 5% rewards with a prime card.

Although incredible in a dark room, my 77" LG C2 facing a bright window has some nasty glare even with the blinds closed. I'm looking into blackout curtains to solve this, but it has left me with FOMO about high-nit QLED or miniLED alternatives.

You mean this FOMO Big Grin

For all those people who sacked this price - FOMO called it 2 months back:

I'm assuming that statement is favoring the qd-oled right? I have a b2 and want to know how big of a difference an s95b would be.
I've never seen colors that saturated and that bright. On LG-wrgb, brighter colors are bright but pale looking.

I've only ever bought one 65" online and it took weeks to get. Also it was delivered by someone that looked like they rolled out from under a bridge driving a beat up box truck. The TV box even smelt funny. I ordered from Walmart. I'd say this is a rare case but I think I'll stick to B&M next time.

Too much risk on something this big coming damaged as well. One of the reasons I chose Walmart is I can easily return it.
Well yikes. I last had a 65" TV delivered from Amazon about 10 years ago and that went fine. I went with Amazon this time (not Woot) for my 65" C2 deal so hopefully it goes well in the next few weeks. For that, I could choose a date and 3 hour time window for them to show up to deliver inside my house, unpack, and test for free.
