dont make the mistake that many of us made in the past of stock piling these batteries as they will leak after about a year.
Free is not worth it for batteries that are pretty much guaranteed to leak and possibly ruin the device they're being used in.
It's not really free. Why. Because you get sucked in to use your rewards and you end up buying another item at a premium.

What else to buy with rewards and not get ripped off other than stamps?
I have $20 to spend this month. I don't need Stamps either. Often they have the OD/OM water for $3 a case. You could get TP, Dawn or Tide detergent in store and PM who ever has it cheapest.. Back to School stuff is on sale.. Most anything they have in the store can be PM'd from Amazon, BB, Target, and Walmart. At the cash register hand them your rewards for part or all of your payment.

If you don't find anything you would want to buy in the store, well then, No might as well skip it. PM works best in store with in stock items.

Anyone had experience with pricematching an item at Office Depot / OfficeMax and still getting the 100% Back in Bonus Rewards?

I have been selling on ebay form over 20 years, and have shipped over 10,000 packages during that time. I am very proficient in the shipping business.

Are there businesses that still do mass mailings and junk mail? Sure. But the majority of businesses do not. I get 3 pieces of junk mail from Optimum per week (although I'm not sure why they think if someone didn't respond to the first 1000 mailings they sent out , the next 1000 will be any different.) And your mass mailings of junk mail are not going to keep the post office alive.
oh yes. dont assume anything that you dont even know. our mass mailing facility is not even a big one compared to our surrounding areas. but we are so valuable that they send their own usps dedicated guys there to check and verify our pallets on spot every day.

a quick google check on usps year net profit for you is below. however, like i said, they make alot of money but they still have to pay out pensions and benefits to those who dont die yet. the longer they live, the more money they lose. just like our social security.

The US market is much friendlier to big businesses than it is to consumers. They let companies get away with a lot of crap that would probably not be tolerated in other developed countries.

100% guarantee from us. we did it all the time. all get full rewards back, with pricematching.

i had horrible pm experience from them, multiple times. so i quit. they just tried to find all kind of excuses not to pricematch. from my particular local od stores. these are mostly from some fresh new faces that ive seen every other week. they cant keep anyone to stay there for more than a few weeks i think. LMAO

pm either to amazon or walmart, they would need to pull out their handheld device. checked for themselves. looked for part # or model # that's not even there nor matching to their model. then denied.

or even at one time, an "upper management" lady did actually fled from her standing to the cashier just to deny my pm with the reason that the battery was already on promotion with 100% full rewards back. cant pm.

How long is this deal typically available ?
The entire week, Sunday through Saturday (11:59PM EDT). Note to the procrastinators, I have had issues with Rewards not crediting if ordering these in the final hour on Saturday night.

Up until the last 9-10 weeks when it went AWOL, this had been a multiple times per month promo.

K-cups, Bounty, Charmin, Tide, school supplies during Back to School season, clearance items. Wait for the breakroom/cleaning stuff to go on sale, or use the ubiquitous online 20% or 25% coupon (SUMMER25 right now, invalid on tech, usually excludes Bounty and Charmin) and pick up in store, or price match to Walmart at the register if your store allows it. Or only play the Rewards game from August-November to build up Rewards for BF laptop, UPS or SD card deals.

And here's another vote for the batteries being terrible leakers, get rid of them or use them in a high burn rate device where they're in and out in under a month. I've learned the hard way to never put these in a TV remote or an occasionally used flashlight.

Stores gone rogue. They're in blatant violation of their corporate PM policy. Mine did too, after years of price matching, one day all staff was blanket denying *all* PM's. "We don't price match any more." I've been told that it's common practice in retail for PM's to come out of each specific store's bottom line, whereas rewards and coupon promos are funded by corporate. I.e. stores are more sensitive to price matching than coupons.

If store management is butt hurt that they might miss a bonus because of some $7 price matches, it seems to me you can: 1) Make a stink, fight it, maybe win maybe not, and either way become known as a devil customer who gets scrutinized on everything else until you give up or enough staff/management turns over, 2) just stop going there, or 3) accept their made-up rules and continue to work that store. Try PM's again in 6 months or a year. I chose the latter as it's the only one for me within a 100 mile radius and I want to continue to fly under the radar on other things I do there.

But yeah, they're 100% wrong on this.

Nice to know, since I got each 24-pack for $20, so less of transferring of hard cash into "Rewards" that can only be used on full-price merchandise, so pm is good Smilie

How soon will I see "rewards" hitting my account after the purchase? (I do not want to be out of return window, to make sure I do get the "rewards")...
