Flash sale? The ongoing 11% sale is hardly a flash sale, and the discount comes in the form of a merchandise credit. They do occasionally put the item on sale along with the 11% sale, which makes for a much slicker deal.

Also, anyone with a brain realizes that Menards is not honest. Their 11% "Rebate" (in the form of a merchandise check only spendable at their stores) comes from them jacking up the regular prices by 11%+!

You literally get to pay 11% over the regular prices and have to waste the money for a stamp to get your money back. Not to mention you have to pay taxes on the inflated prices!

The company is a scam.

I will never understand the Menard's bashing that I see here on SD. I realize they do not have free shipping, but they are a great store for people who live near them. I have shopped at Menard's regularly for two decades and I have never felt scammed. I have saved lots of money on the same or comparable products sold at Lowe's and Home Depot including some major home improvement purchases such as flooring and appliances. I would choose Menard's any day over the other two.

Yes, the 11% is in for form a rebate check but they do not hide this fact. Some on SD make it sound like it is some kind of fine print, hidden scam. IT IS NOT! Just nonsense from those commenters.
