I can confirm, I did buy the same kit and it's running good so far.

The only issue I did run into was that I was not aware that with some motherboards when switching out ram to a new kit, you might want to boot into the bios with one stick of the new ram first. Then adjust the settings to the new ram and reboot. Then you can add your second stick of ram.
I kept getting an endless boot cycle with no picture, when I first used both sticks of the new ram. So if you do run into any issues like this, turn your PC off and try the suggestion I mentioned above.
Absolutely not worth an upgrade. You would have to try very, very hard to see a difference between the two. This could be 4000mhz CL14 and you still wouldn't notice the "upgrade". RAM is probably the single most common component that people overspend on for absolutely no reason.

This is a very good price for DDR4 3600 CL16 RAM. I posted this a couple weeks back and it was $66 then. I'm using this RAM with one of the 12th gen + MB combos Newegg had recently, so far it seems to be working well and had no problems with XMP profile.

The only possible concern may be that it runs at 1.40 volts, whereas some of the "premium" CL16 3600 RAM is usually 1.35 volts. To me, that doesn't make any difference because I'm not trying to squeeze any overclocking beyond XMP profile out of it.

Can you verify if this is single or dual rank?

Didn't realize RAM got so cheap now. Paid $160 in 2020 for 32gb 3600CL16 and that was a decent deal.

This is what normally happens before the next gen ram becomes more dominate. Then in a few years the price will go up.

I have 64gb of 3200 ram with my 5900X system. Worth it to upgrade? Mine is CL16-20-20-40

Pretty crazy though, seems like 64gb of this in the same brand i have (TForce Vulcan Z) is cl 18-22-22-42 so I feel like this is a really good deal. Doubt I could get anything for my ram in resale tho

For some reason it's really hard to find reviews on this kit to see how they compare to the Vengeance LPX and Crucial Ballistix counterparts.

Absolutely not worth an upgrade. You would have to try very, very hard to see a difference between the two. This could be 4000mhz CL14 and you still wouldn't notice the "upgrade". RAM is probably the single most common component that people overspend on for absolutely no reason.

Ram is often the cheapest upgrade that can solve many problems. 16 gb is the BARE minimum for my day to day, 32 for less than 100 is pretty reasonable. Still agree in his case it's not worth buying though
