Stay away from Lyca. No customer support. They do not give your PIN and account number when you want to move to a different provider

Eff all that porting hassle - use Google Voice & never have to deal with it again. Get a new number for each new deal, update the number in the app, & done.

When data runs out is it cut off or slower speed?

I'm on the boost 3 month plan because i needed something quick.. and found out
that when the data runs out it's off. That sucks.

Plans is data soft-capped - after monthly high-speed data allowance, you're throttled to 128Kbps.

All you need to know is that Lyca Mobile has a BBB rating of 1.2 out of 5 with numerous complaints. If you still want to roll the dice with them good luck but just thought I would put that out there.

Dont activate on a weekend. My sim got activated today, but they didnt add the plan. So cant use the line, until their backend team can add it my line, eta 24-48 hours. They said most of the time its done in 2 hours, but backend team is off for weekend. Cs cant add a top up plan so that i can use the phone. They dont allow port out as well during this time. So basically stuck with no texting, calls or data. Its a nightmare. I topped up for now, but will port out of this crapca plan tomorrow. And file a chargeback if they dont refund all my money.
stay away if possible.

WARNING! Lyca Mobile is the absolute worst. Do not do business with them. Did not honor original price plan.Then it took more than a month for these blood sucking scammers to port out my number. Totally evil and dishonest company!!!
