What I learned is to never buy clothing online, unless it has free returns. Without trying something on to check fitting and comfort, I don't want to be stuck with it..

If you like your shorts a bit longer try these. My favorite shorts and this is the best price.

They are saying if you wear a 30" inseam in pants, these shorts would hit at your knee.

Unfortunately if you don't have a larger than 30 inseam they may come in at the knee.

Uh, what? 30" inseam would be pants, dude, lol

Even 30" outseam shorts would be pretty ridiculous, probably halfway between knee and ankle on most dudes.

Sorry I meant you'd need longer than 30 inseam overall. Like someone I know who's 34 wearing these they are above his knee.

Is that person you know 7ft tall???

Measure from where your shorts sit on your waist/hips down to where they land around your knees - that's the outseam measurement. Most shorts are going to be between 16-20". 16" outseam would be "short shorts" territory for many guys, but 22" outseam will land below most guys' knees.

30" outseam would be like the ridiculous old JNCO shorts from the 90s.

Their regular vmonty shorts are my favorite. Fit is perfect and very comfortable. What is the difference between these shorts and the vmonty? Is it just the material?

I think they have a slight bit of stretch to them. I have both and the stretch seem softer and more comfortable to wear, but I do love both. I am also 6'6" and these stop at the top of my knee.
