Who would of thought a 179 dollar tiller would spark the Civil War? City boy here with .25 of an acre and absolutely no use for this thing but I'm in for one. Coming to till ur land boys.
1.creating garden beds
2. breaking up weedy lawn to prep for seeds
3. leveling lawn
4. breaking apart roots around bushes to make them easier to remove
5. loosening the ground in preparation for a trench
Some big city people love to abandon the mess they created and then once they are out in the country begin to complain about how rural it is and tell people "how we did it back home" and try to change the area to be more like what they left. - That said, I think if more city folks had some land and a tiller like this, they would see the calming/rewarding nature of growing your own food.

No offense meant to any city folks.

If I buy one of these will I be able to get a country folk superiority complex that I'm now learning exists
Pretty sure the native Americans didn't feel they were superior to the europeans.. they simply didn't want them taking over what for generations had been their land cultivated in a certain way.

Even if those Europeans were arrogant and thought "if you dont like it then leave, we are an improvement over what you had."

But this is being dragged off topic. I apologize for this and will refrain from further city/country folk discussion lol!

All over the country. They ruin once good places and then go and infect another.
Until they grow up and realize tax dollars work better at the local level, and they want to keep more of their hard earned dollars.

Front page bound. Way better deal than the Legend force.
Seems to be the exact same item just different color and brand. And $20 cheaper

Yard Force for 179 tills down to 14 inches and has a briggs and stratton engine. Also title neglects to explain it has front and rear drive as well. I'm going to return the $199 Legend force and keep the YF.

Edit:
The $199 legend force has a neutral which will make it much easier to move around and get set up. This explains the lower tilling depth, maybe the transmission is bigger and bulkier. Now, do I need to till more than 8 inches deep in Texas?

Got one! I needed as I made a garden for my mom this summer... Back breaking work. I used this thing called a groundhog on my Kodiak 700 ATV... After that, I sold it for $200 and began looking for a used tiller... Perfect swap for me.

These are just cheap zongshen engines they use for many machines. You've got to change the oil before use, then after the first few hours. The pot metal is very soft vs a Briggs or Subaru, and will produce a lot of shavings. Once the motor is broken in with a few oil changes, it should run fine for a dozen years. Use synthetic.
Thanks. The Yardforce one uses a Briggs engine. Not sure why it's not getting any love

the reviews on the handles turn me off on that one, along with 'exclusive' that to me says no parts....home depot brand? either way yeah tempting with the briggs on that

Smaller tines, smaller engine, 1/16 of the reviews of the Champion. The Champion is tried and true and ends up in almost every top ten list for rear tine tillers. I would never write off a Briggs and Stratton engine, but as far as rear tine tillers go, the Champion seems to be the favorite. Not a bad deal for either, but my money is on the Champion

Roundup was most likely spayed on their wheat, just before harvest.

Until they outlaw your small engine equipment. Seems municipalities are moving in this direction fairly quickly. At least it seems they are grandfathered in atm.

"California, Vermont, and Washington D.C. have already implemented bans or limits on small gas engines. Starting next year, California will no longer allow the sale of new small gas engines. People who already own blowers and mowers can still use them, however."
All else equal, I try to favor electric devices; climate change is real and most likely man-made. But things are not equal, electric tillers like these used to be triple in price, and due to this deal the difference is way more lopsided now.

Maybe the current sale is exactly because of the future bans?
