The LED light is worth around $8-10. Normally it's around $15 nowadays. I have several of these that use AA batteries, and they're kept in the car. They're small, durable, and give a considerable amount of light.
And for some silly reason, piece of foam have skyrocketed. Kneepads like this that would normally be $5-10 are going for $25-30. It's quite obnoxious.
I'd argue this set is worth the $25 asking price, as all of the items are of decent quality -- especially if you don't have anything like this. There are worse ways to spend $25.

Since then I've obtained a variety of old ones and they hold perfectly fine like I remembered as a kid. Maybe these in this deal are better, but mine, holy shit, are useless and it wasn't one of the three - it was all of them.

And let me guess, you are counting this gut level "significant increase" from Jan 2020 but only counting people who took office the following year in your very selective blame game?

There was significant inflation last 3 years. This is a universally agreed upon fact.
More than half of all money supply has been created in last 3 years. That is also a fact.
So what is the point of you insinuating some sort of conspiracy theory by a poster when factually prices have increased at an incredibly high rate.
And uselessly trying to tie in some sort of political affiliation to the line of thinking which aligns with factual information. In which case that would make your political affiliation the one less desired.
