You have to have $4 per month plan to get basic alerts on app, Ring used to be good but not anymore

That's basically every system these days. In order to get notifications and such they force you into a subscription service.

Ring system is simple, reliable and pretty cheap.

What exactly you don't like about Ring? At least Amazon is not dropping ball as Google did with Nest.

Weird why they took away one contact sensor to give you the panic button instead. $ wise it's a better deal but practically i dont think most people will find the panic button as useful as the extra contact sensor.

I just ordered the traditional 8 pc set from kohls with 55 kohls cash i had for $95 total, but if i didnt have the free kohls cash I'd definitely buy it from this deal

Thanks, needed this for new place. Is it worth it to wait for a bigger set? 120 from 200 is pretty big discount, do they still have annual plan? I have annual plan, can I use it for 2 different houses/alarms?

I didn't want to have to pay a subscription for getting notifications on my phone and I wanted something very similar to the ring system, so I bought the Roku Home Monitoring System Bundle from Walmart for $99. Love it so far! Super easy to set up.

If you want professional monitoring how much does that cost? Does the Roku system support Z-wave or WiFi locks, home automation, etc.?

My phone app/Echo notifies me of movement or someone using the doorbell. I don't pay a fee.

Don't like the ring, response was super slow, every time the mailman left, the notification popped up. No more ring products.
May be it's your internet. I always get notifications when someone in my driveway !!

What do you mean by notifications on the phone? I have the ring system. I don't pay for the subscription but I get motion, entry, exit and when the alarm set off notifications.
