Where does it say that?
I love their sweet chili flavor and nacho, havnt tried barbque but i bet its good. They're great to crumble up and use as a crunch topping for salads.

Regarding exp date, they should be good for frickin months after that or longer. I've eaten these chips and Quest protein bars nearly a year after exp date without issue
Macros aren't as good, also pea and soy protein blend vs the Quest's milk and whey protein blend. Still, a good price for that product.

I ended up paying $39 for 3 (36 bags) including tax. So almost $10 cheaper than OP, and about a dollar per bag. I like the BBQ flavor a lot, but I don't like spicy sweet chili.

Tried this the other day, not bad at all. $3 a bag at the grocery store though 😬

Spicy sweet chili make great nachos, imo. Nacho cheese is best but not a bad runner up for that price.

I don't know if it says that but it is likely true. I just got the quest cookies and they expire very soon.
I got those cookies too and it says in the description for the cookies, but not for these chips. Amazon has been great using refunds/replacements for issues for me.

FYI - Sams Club has Nacho Cheese flavor protein chips 10oz bag for $8, so for $48, you can get 60oz instead of this deal's 39oz total.

at more than $1 per oz, how good is this chip? Genuinely curious from someone who's trying to eat healthier and lose weight.

The potato chip style chips are not bad (think slightly weird, bumpy Pringles) and the tortilla style chips are pretty good (think Doritos, but softer). Both types are prone to crumbling, so not up to the structural requirements of many dips.

I find it much easier to eat a reasonably-sized serving of Quest Chips compared to the junk food they're impersonating. That alone makes them helpful when trying to cut back on calories. Sure, it'd be cheaper and better to avoid chips altogether, but it can be helpful to have a drop-in alternative that is easier to moderate when you would otherwise be unable to resist indulging yourself.
