According to Anker this is slightly bigger in every dimension than the GAN 735. I assume that's why it is cheaper. 2.8 x 1.7 x 1.3 vs. 2.6 × 1.5 × 1.15

Portability. Charger + cable takes up almost twice the space of a charger with foldable plugs.
Portability means nothing if it easily falls out of the socket. I know a loose socket means the socket needs to be replaced, but I can't replace sockets in public places. Give me a super short cord to not add too much bulk and I'll be happy. For now the best option seems to be the slimq charger, but it's not perfect and the cable is long enough to add serious bulk. Still, it's the one charger I travel with because it will reliably work anywhere.

I have a similar 3 port Gan charger from another brand with a similar form factor as this charger. I have used it in about 8 hotels now and have never had it fall out of a socket. I think assuming they will all fall out based on their size or appearance is rather presumptuous. But you do you.
your hotels must be 5 star mate. I have it and it falls out. unusable on a plane. what's the point of foldable travel charger that doesn't travel ?
Yeah these fall out of plane sockets all the time for me in economy on delta or American. Unsure of others. So touchy and pretty annoying. Works great at home though.

Sorry for my bad english. I think you can bend the metal connector from the plug outward just a little big so that it is harder to fall out. (sorry, I really don't know how to describe it)...
