    it's ok for the price - only problem is absence of bracing* - you might want to strengthen with a couple of pieces of 1x2 or some brackets.

    * but they suggest to attach to the wall

    There's other multi tier shoe racks on amazon. May prefer one with holes on the shelving might be better for wet bottom soles and ventilation

    Are these made in China?
    It'd be a weird world to be in to find out it's easier to click a button and have wood assembled and sent from China via slow boat and then trucks to my house, than for me to try to make my own for less than $10!

    These are mdf... so whatever you make out of real wood would already be better.

    Picked up a couple like these for stacking studio gear a couple of years ago for $10 each at one of the dollar stores. Decent solution for adding shelves for storage and closets, too. Can't speak about these quality.
