Patty ingredients:
Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavors, 2% Or Less Of: Potato Protein, Methylcellulose, Yeast Extract, Cultured Dextrose, Food Starch Modified, Soy Leghemoglobin, Salt, Mixed Tocopherols (Antioxidant), Soy Protein Isolate, Vitamins and Minerals (Zinc Gluconate, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Niacin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B12).
I may as well add my two cents. Impossible burgers are tasty. Not quite as good as a regular whopper, but pretty close.

SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!
can only add another impossible patty, no other options in that regard.

You could add bacon, remove the impossible patty yourself and have a $1 BLT

This is probably one of the dumbest arguments for eating meat I have ever seen. Congrats.

There are far less ingredients and processing in the beef patty.

100% USDA inspected Ground Beef (Fire-Grilled). Salt & Pepper Seasoning Blend: Salt, Black Pepper, Canola Oil (anti-dusting agent), and Silicon Dioxide (anti-caking agent).
They're not required to list the growth hormones, antibiotics, and supplements they inject and feed to them on the factory farms? Out of sight, out of mind! Just a little bit of black pepper seasoning and that fire-grilled flavor is all you need to know!

Would you find it okay to raise dogs in this manner as well?

I see the manly carnivores just can't help but chime in with their opinions on this, but as a vegetarian I just want to say thanks. Grabbed one for lunch!

According to a 3rd party article:

Although the source of meat to Burger King has been traced to farms that graze cattle on protected lands, USDA continues to approve their meat by focusing on the quality majorly. The brand has focused on various measures to remain eco-friendly and environmentally conscious, especially in the process of sourcing meat. Subsequently, Burger King has been more careful with the companies they buy from to avoid tainting the brand's image.

Do you even read what you copy/paste? That blurb is about grazing on protected lands and has nothing to do with health concerns or growth hormones.

Stoopid vegans don't know the science is on my side. I'll show them. Let's just copy paste from this 3rd party article and there. Checkmate atheists.

Grazing is the key word. The farms you are speaking of don't graze their animals. They have them locked up in pens, feeding out of troughs.

If all livestock were free range we'd need 5 earths for them to range on. If you think for a second that Burger King is hiding the source of their meats because they're secretly grazing them free range, boy have I got a bridge to sell you.

And none of that precludes injecting hormones. You can inject hormones and antibiotics into grazing animals.

Every Wednesday is Whopper Wednesday. The offer says: "Whopper or impossible Whopper" w/ a $3 minimum purchase on my app. Apparently it must not be the same at all locations?
I see a choice of regular or Impossible Whopper for the Whopper Wednesday deal, as always. But this offer promo seemed to be specifically aimed at a free Impossible Whopper with no substitution mentioned. Anybody else seeing an option for a regular Whooper with this promo?

I'm not a fan of the Impossible Whopper. I don't have any particular views one way or the other as far as the concept of it. It just seems to have an overly salty taste and kind of an odd chewy texture to me.

Thanks. I will pass. Reminds me of the Netflix show "Poisoned".

I'm confused. The first paragraph to what you cite says:

"Organically grown" food is food grown and processed using no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Pesticides derived from natural sources (such as biological pesticides) may be used in producing organically grown food.

Isn't that exactly what I said?

Regarding organic strawberries + methylbromide:
https://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/23/us/farmers-seek-to-raise-standards-for-berries.html?_r=1&ref=sanf... [nytimes.com]
https://www.motherjones.com/food/...fumigants/

My understanding is that the fields that the organic strawberries are methylbromide-free, but the nurseries where they are first grown before transplanting to the fields still use them.

Regarding organic farms using more pesticides:
https://www.forbes.com/sites/stev...88ba086717
"The categories that have organic-approved active ingredients are indicated with the USDA logo and together these comprise 55% of the total pounds applied"
You seemed to imply some chemical pesticides are allowed by following with the methyl bromide part. Technically bio pesticides are still allowed. From my understanding some produce brought over from other countries that are organic, are commonly fumigated before getting to us. I'll look into the other articles you posted. Forbes wouldn't open for me though.
