Can you not read? 66% of Best Buy shoppers are 35 and older. Most millennials are not going to pay $49 or $179 a year for a membership to Best Buy that gives you access to Free Shipping and Member Only Prices (like this SD).
So this is one of the first member only pricing deals since Best Buy converted to the new yearly tiered membership offers, and- in my opinion- it sucks.
Your prime clientele who even have one of these memberships are not interested in blow dryers and curling irons for your hair.
So if this is what paying $49/yr is supposed to be something to justify the price (other than free shipping, which is already free most of the time), then this is a bad way to start off- and a bad way to entice more subscribers.
The promo below is dead now but between Dyson's own and its eBay sites they offer great discounts on their refurbs such as their hair dryer they had the other day for $200. I got a refurb thru them a yr ago and it's perfect at half the cost of a new one.

But if you're talking about just Best Buy, then I would say that issue is internal (between the employees and upper management). People can make their own choices about what jobs they want, right?

I saw this deal on Best Buy this morning, did store pick up. No issues, saved $80 and a Best Buy membership for a year. Couldn't find below MSRP on any other site.
