This is my first post so have mercy on me. Buydig is an LG authorized reseller and the ad says LG certified refurbished so you shouldn't have warranty issues but double check. 2 years Allstate warranty on it.

Same size G2 is selling for about the same price new.

Because this is the 83 inch it doesn't have the MLA tech that is discussed in all the reviews as the reason to get the G series. If I could afford it, I'd pick up the 77 inch G3 with MLA tech instead.

That is a good catch. I'm going to figure out how to put it in the original post with you to credit. It's a shame not to have that tech at this price point.

I was coming here to say the same. And if you're okay with a 77" you may wish to consider/opt for the new Sony that has a pre-order in the next few days. Rumor has it that it will be a notch above the G3 in picture quality. We shall see...

I held out, hoping the new LG M3 83 ( model with wireless connection box) would have MLA... it doesn't either...Looks like we'll have to wait for the G4. I wasn't tracking the Sony, though, so I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

G5 it'll peak tech-wise imo. 3rd year of MLA. 12 bit panel etc.

Just wait one year on the 83. Makes no sense to buy one until they add MLA. Next year's model will be far superior.

Lol that's what is actually going on right now. Purchased and paid august 23 at night, tracking provided august 24, shipping estimated by shipper for September 5th, today just changed to September 8th. Buydig called giving me a heads up to expect delivery scheduling on September 1st.

Sorry but the details for 2024 models has leaked and no MLA for 83" G4 either.
