This is weird. This deal is three cents a bag. I have had the 100 count box on S&S for some months, and my latest one was $3.39 for a box of 100. So this deal is a bit better than what I have paid.

BUT! Now the Amazon price for the 100 box is $10.51 Huh?! I guess I will cancel that S&S just to make a point. Hope they get it.

So if you like this tea (as I do), this is the way to buy it.

the 100 boxes and the 40/80/160 boxes are not equivalent.

the former are a special formulation for the usa market. the latter is the proper, superior product.

This tea is pretty good and I know the Brits love it, but frankly it's overrated. The Taylor's of Harrogate English Breakfast (made by same company as Yorkshire) is much more enjoyable in my opinion. The main thing though is to make sure this is the updated tea bags, the old ones were made out of plastic which is a horrible idea when submerging in boiling water and releasing microplastics. The new ones are still made of a "natural plastic" but atleast they are compostable. If you care about your health, get loose leaf tea. It's much cheaper in general (though likely not cheaper than this deal), higher quality (loose leaf has full leaves vs. Tea dust which can be hidden via teabags), and of course contains NO plastic.

EVERYTHING is contaminated with microplastics. loose leaf tea would get it from the soil, water, and even the air circulating around them. Your statement that there would be some form of tea with NO plastic is completely untrue.

Clearly you are more interested in appearing intelligent than being so

So this should be ok for iced tea then.

I just received this order today, and I didn't notice at the time, but it came from a different 3rd party seller. Instead of the 480 yorkshire red, I got a box that was supposed to contain 4x40 boxes of yorkshire biscuit tea, but it only had 3 boxes of 40... so not only the wrong thing, but an opened incomplete shipment of the wrong thing. They don't allow exchanges so I got a refund. This deal is still available from a completely different seller for $14.90 so I ordered that instead... now curious to see if I get the same wrong thing since Amazon shares inventory across sellers and all of that, it has happened to me before, I assume because the shipment of things got the wrong stickers?

I got the Yorkshire biscuit tea (3 boxes of 40) instead of the red as well. I got a refund and ordered it again from a different seller. Will know tomorrow if I get the right tea this time.

Hmm, that is really weird. The case that the biscuit tea came in for me looked sealed, it was marked as 4x40 packs, so I figured my order was an anomaly, but I guess not! My replacement order from another seller was supposed to be prime, but was delayed in shipping. Half the time when that happens for me on prime orders... the order disappears, we'll see. They wouldn't let me return the biscuit tea, so I have been drinking that and it is pretty good, but while it might smell a tiny bit like biscuits, it just tastes like normal decent black tea to me.

I just got my second order, and once again got the 3 packs of biscuit tea for a total of 120 bags. I used the AI chatbot and once again they won't allow a return and just refunded. I wish they would allow return/exchange cos now I feel guilty, I am going to stop trying I guess.

Same here, ordered 3x of 480 and got 3x of 120ct biscuit tea, got a refund after chatting to support (AI wouldn't give me a refund, just kept looping saying there are no returns), got my second order today from a different seller and same problem, getting a refund for that now. Shame since this would have been a great price on this tea!

Second order was also the biscuit tea. I got a refund again via chat. I was hoping to get the right item this time around.
