I have this but always go back to the cheap lamp I like better. This doesn't have the additional strap going over the top of your heas so it slips around a lot. It also gets hot AF, I mean like handle it with oven mitts hot if you use it for any length of time. Good settings, good light, like USB c charging but the poor head strap and incredibly hot temp make this headlamp worse option for me
Personally I gotta have the red light option. It's great when at camp with other people.
I have a collection of flashlights including several from Sofirn, and this is probably my favorite. It's tiny and has a belt clip and magnet which make it easy to stow anywhere. USB-C charging, replaceable battery, has easily accessible dim and bright modes for sneaking around the house or lighting up the garage. Also has a lockout function which makes it a great toy for when you need to distract a baby or toddler. I've never used the head strap but it seems like it would be a practical headlamp with it's light weight. However if you are only looking for a headlamp, I would get one from Amazon with more capacity and a motion sensor for around the same price.
I think I paid $18 for this when I bought it from Aliexpre$$ so this is a great price for it.

Thanks! I needed smaller headlamps for emergency bags and these are perfect, I already own a few sofirns, and appreciate the high CRI and 4000k temp. it also has a 1 lumen moonlight mode, which works better than a red light option for preserving night vision . Thanks!
I do not see where the description is for changing the function, the whatever that most flashlight makers call modes. In other words, how do we change the brightness? I assume it is the same way that most flashlights work, we must click the power button multiple times.
Thanks for posting this. I love my other Sofirn lights and have been keeping an eye out for a headlamp for cheap (this definitely qualifies!). Love that this is 90CRI and is offered in 4000K. I bought 2 (no shipping charge for me).
One question: this has modes that appear similar to Sofirn's other lights with the Anduril operating system, but I don't see any mention of Anduril on the product page. Is this light running one of the versions of Anduril, or does it control modes some other way?
I also ordered 2 for the free shipping. 4000k (warmer) is such a more pleasing color temperature, in my opinion. I love sofirn lights (I own several) and they have all performed flawlessly, with insane runtimes.

I think it's a dumbed down version of Andruil. From an off position, hold the button for a second to get to moonlight mode, or double-click to get to bright mode. Single-click will turn on to the last used brightness setting, and from there, holding the button down cycles through various brightness steps.
Not quite as many settings as an Andruil light, but still plenty functional for a light of this size and price.

The sofirn home page (as well as links to products from here) won't load for me.
"Server can't be found" using chrome and Safari.
It's been this way for days for me. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: I purchased a Q8 Pro in April and love it!
