I have a bunch of Kershaws, but will only buy Made in USA Kershaws. Otherwise, these Chinese made Kershaws are still a decent deal.
Thanks for the reminder, Kershaw is awesome about warranty parts. There's a link hidden on their warranty page where you can order just about every part for free if you don't mind replacing parts yourself instead of shipping things back and forth. These things can easily last decades if not a lifetime with a little service here and there, black blur is where it is at.

The Cryos are incredible EDCs for the value. I prefer the original (in metal or G-10) since it's a bit smaller, but these are durable knives with decent steel for the price.
Paid $18 for my Cryo. $30 on "closeout" seems like regular price. Great knife tho.
Many here paid around that price, but I don't think it's been that price for a a good few years. The last deal from earlier this year was for $25 + shipping, so I think this is comparable to that.
Good knife, but I'm not a fan of the assisted anymore since I like easy closing. The new kershaw iridium is great for the money (can be found around $52 on Amazon).

Cryo was my first knife purchase around 10 years ago, it's my shortest knife, steel handle, also my heaviest. Very poor weight to size ratio.. dulled very quickly, I don't buy 8CR any longer when you can get fantastic budget nights with 14c with g10 or micarta in the 20 to $30 range on the regular

Thanks for the parts tip! I have a blur for several years in sv30 I love. The textures rubber grip has bubbled up but still "in there". Going to see if they will send them out via the form.

I have a Blur with the same issue and a Leek whose spring has lost its springiness. I will have to see if I can get those parts.

Yes, all these knives were pretty mediocre ten years ago and now are just abysmal compared to modern offerings. Just picked up a Civivi Riffle for $31 from BHQ and liked it so much I order two more. Just leaps and bounds better than than these knives. Also comes in a knife taco, which I love.
Someone mentioned the Kershaw Iridium. Now that is a great knife. I bought one when they first shipped and now have the blacked out version on its way. That is a bit more than twice the price of any of these on sale though.
