I believe you can use regular bags with all Simplehuman trash bins, they just won't fit as nice as the Simplehuman ones that are made for that specific trash bin. I think standard trash bags are usually 13 gallons so depends on the size of the bin of they will fit nicely, too loose, etc.

So you can technically use regular trash bags but they don't fit around the rim as snuggly. If you tighten it up at the top it does work but you'll find they slip out more often than stay put. I've been using some 3rd party "H" bags for a bit and they're fine, cheaper than the official bags.

Just grabbed one and the sign showed $99.99. Not sure if this is a sale since there was no discount noted on the sign as usual for sale items. This can does go for $199 at most other retailers though do not sure if this is regular Costco pricing.

Yeah it's regular Costco pricing because it ends in .99. It's still half the price of everywhere else. I doubt it's gonna go on sale with how well it's selling.
