This review [pizzamaking.com] says it got to around 679 in the back of the oven, so not the 900+ degrees that an Ooni or Rocbox would get you, but this is also half the price, or less. People generally seem happy with the performance for the money.

I've owned the oven pizza box part for 5 years and the stone hasn't cracked. I use it on top of my Weber propane grill and it heats up to around 600F. Once the stone is hot enough, you pop a pizza in the oven and by the time you make your next one, it's done. It makes about a 12 inch pizza. I can't comment on the use on the flattop, but the box works great on the propane grill. And we use the pizza box at least 3 times a month.

Anyone own this particular model? Any good? Also, $50 off doesn't seem like a great deal compared the clearance prices I have seen on outdoor grills. Think this will go cheaper?

For $274, or even much less if you find it on clearance, at Walmart you can get a tabletop Blackstone Pizza Oven. Has two stones, goes to 1000⁰. I have one, it's awesome!

I bought a version w/o griddle attachment from Amazon a couple years ago and has been fantastic:

The temp gets to around 800F on mine. Mine fits a 14" pizza.
Based on overall dimensions, the walmart version is a bit smaller so should be able to fit a 13" pizza.

I cook NY style pizza at ~700F and they come out great. Have not had any issues with the stone cracking (like with any pizza stone, just don't put ice water on it while hot and don't drop it)

For the price, cannot be beat.
