And personally I'd get the Roomba s9+ & Braava jet m6 bundle thats on sale for $800 right now. The idea of one machine doing both jobs just sounds like disaster waiting to happen.
From. roomba and roborock owner it's not even close. Roomba is early 2000s technology.
Roomba doesn't work well in the dark neeeds some light. Doesn't have LiDAR like roborock, so its smarter than a dumb vac but it still bumps around.
My 5 year old M6 does not clean nearly as good as the old 240 which actual had some type of scrubbing action. m6 just drags the mop around. Roborock vibrates to scrub stains.
They are 20 years apart in tech, Roomba always had advantage in a carpet cleaning because of their patent in the dual roll, which expired and roborock now uses. It.
Roborock takes 15 min to scan the whole house and have it 95% perfect. Roomba will take hours and be 80% right on first run.
Roborock app is also light years ahead, the only advantage I will give roomba is you can select which order it cleans the rooms.

So I got the Coscto Roomba J8+. This roborock probably has better navigation but when I press that clean button on my J8+, set it and forget it, the robot is always back on dock anyway, so what difference does it make? I would pay more to not have it bump into things, but I aint payin $1300~ after tax more for that with worse carpet vacuuming.
