That being said this is not a good turn table for those who are "serious" about collecting records and building a collection to have for many years to come. This is 100% using the same guts as all the other cheap players out there ( victrola , can't even think of the others right now but you are basically buying the exact same player) This has Bluetooth connectivity ( don't really recommend as sound quality is not great but still a great feature for some) and RCA outs which I 100 % recommend because there is NO CHANCE that the little speakers on this sound good even taking into account everything I've said here.
If THAT is your ultimate goal but you still don't want to empty the bank account then I'd recommend one of the lower end Fluance turn tables. They make really great products and everything comes set out of the gate with little to no tweaking needed. With that option you have an easy path for upgrades as you could upgrade to an acrylic platter / better stylus etc.
Collecting records and music should be fun. Don't let anyone gatekeep your happiness and do what you want but also have reasonable expectations and know what you are getting into before putting down your money no matter how much of how little it is.
